Preinstallation Steps
Before running the installer we recommend installing SUN's JVM. Triplesec runs on the 1.4.2 version however we recommend installing the 5.0 version available here
. SSL support is only available when running on the 5.0 JVM.
Once you have downloaded and installed the JVM proceed to the next section.
Download and Install
The Windows platform installer is a native executable. You can download it from here
.
The installer is simple and the defaults can be safely selected. At the end of the installation the installer asks if you would like to run the configuration manager for the Triplesec Windows Service. Feel free not to opt for this since smart defaults are used for the service and you can launch the service configuration manager from the program group for Triplesec later. In the next section the service configuration manager is described in detail.
